Brad Adams received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology at USC, and recently left his Clark-Kent job at the UCLA Medical Center. He is the Founder/CEO of the Los Angeles Medicinal Psychedelics Society (LAMPS), was Chair of the Los Angeles Psychedelic Science (LAPSS 2018) Planning Committee, and was again for LAMPSS 2021.
Brad collaborated with Drs. Charles Grob and Dennis McKenna on a pilot study entitled Ayahuasca, Psychiatric Distress, and the Meaning of Life: Results from a Pilot Study in Peru. He is currently in the process of transforming LAMPS into a research, training and education center. Currently planning more conferences and smaller LAMPS events, he's ever on the search for amazing collaborators/co-conspirators!
IAN BENOUIS | Entheogenic Attorney
Ian Benouis, JD, is the Founder of Entheo Law and his law firm has helped create over 20 entheogenic churches. He is a West Point graduate, former Blackhawk helicopter pilot, former US Army officer and combat veteran who participated in Operation Just Cause in the Republic of Panama the biggest operation in history directed towards the War on Drugs. He has organized and participated in numerous trips with veterans to Mexico, Peru and other locations for ethnobotanical healing. His work has been captured in documentaries including From Shock to Awe and Soldiers of the Vine.

COURTNEY CLOSE | Pastoral Coordinator, The Hummingbird Ayahuasca Church
Courtney serves as the Pastoral Coordinator and is the founder of Hummingbird Church. She began her journey with plant medicines in 2017, shortly after giving birth to her daughter. With the assistance of plant medicines and the aid of caring and competent healers, Courtney was able to overcome postpartum depression. Courtney is a mother, a BPO business consultant, a Girl Scout troop leader, and is pursuing her Masters Degree in Christian theology. Courtney strives to honor indigenous traditions and believes in cultivating healing through creating community.

Suzi is passionate advocate in the legalization of psychedelics and sacred plant medicines. She is devoted to creating communities that awaken the divine masculine and feminine, holding space for others to heal. It is her goal to spread awareness of these sacred medicines and make them available to all who seek healing and communion with source.
