Manesh Girn

Manesh is a neuroscience PhD candidate currently conducting brain imaging research on psychedelic experiences and the default mode network. He has published over a dozen scientific articles and runs the popular YouTube channel The Psychedelic Scientist.

He is also one of the core faculty at The Plant Spirit School Integration Coach Certification program, designed to empower plant medicine people to grow their thriving vocation in the Psychedelic Renaissance.

About Manesh Girn

Manesh is in the latter stages of obtaining his PhD in Neuroscience at McGill University and has been lead or co-author on over a dozen scientific publications and book chapters on topics including psychedelics, meditation, daydreaming, and the default-mode network.

He is currently conducting research on the brain mechanisms underlying psychedelics in collaboration with Dr. Robin Carhart-Harris and other leaders in psychedelic science. He also runs a YouTube channel - The Psychedelic Scientist - where he discusses the latest findings in psychedelic science in an easy to understand form.
