Jon Dennis

JON DENNIS | Attorney and Activist

Jon Dennis is a lawyer and activist in the psychedelics ecosystem and a consultant at the firm Psychedelics Now. He is the co-host of “Eyes on Oregon,” a podcast by Psychedelics Today exploring the developments in Oregon’s regulated psilocybin landscape. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Practice Section on Cannabis and Psychedelics and is a co-chair of its Psychedelics Subcommittee. He is a member of the Psychedelics Bar Association and sits on its Religious Use Committee.

Jon is the chief architect of the proposed regulatory framework for protecting religious and spiritual communities who operate under Oregon’s new psilocybin program. He has presented to multiple subcommittees of the Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board in support of religious and spiritual freedoms and a community access model for psychedelic services. He is a founding member of the Entheogenic Practitioners Council of Oregon.

Anthony Johnson

ANTHONY JOHNSON | Oregon Measure 110 Chief Petitioner

A chief petitioner for three statewide ballot initiatives in Oregon, most recently for Measure 110 that decriminalized personal drug possession, Anthony has extensive experience assisting drug policy reforms across the country, including the Measure 109 law that legalized therapeutic psilocybin therapies. And as a member of Oregon's statewide advisory committees establishing both medical and recreational cannabis programs, Anthony has been engaged with government regulators and policymakers implementing new drug policies and programs. A former criminal defense attorney, Anthony has dedicated his life to ending the harms of the Drug War and is looking to share his experiences from Oregon to help educate and prepare other drug policy reform advocates.

Andre Ourso

ANDRE OURSO | Administrator, Center For Health Protection, Oregon

André Ourso, MPH, JD is the Administrator for the Center for Health Protection. As Center Administrator, André oversees crucial programs that leverage public health’s licensing and regulatory tools to protect the health of all Oregonians. Before taking the position of Administrator, André managed the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP) where he oversaw implementation of significant portions of Oregon’s regulatory scheme for marijuana legalization.

Prior to his arrival in Oregon in November 2015, André served as executive director of the Florida Board of Medicine. He also has served as an assistant general counsel supervising a team of attorneys and as a biological scientist and government operations consultant for the Florida Department of Health. He has a law degree and master of public health degree (epidemiology).

In his spare time Andre enjoys swimming, biking, cooking and just being in the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, hiking in the forests and mountains or relaxing on the coast.

Pilar Hernandez-Wolfe

PILAR HERNÁNDEZ-WOLFE | Licensed Family Therapist

Pilar is a professor at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling and a licensed family therapist. Pilar is a member of the equity subcommittee of the OR Psilocybin Advisory board. Pilar co-created with her colleague created Earth Medicine Center to offer psilocybin facilitation training for those who practice with reverence for the sacred, in reciprocity for all beings, and deep regard for relational ethics.
