THE SHIPIBO ART OF INTEGRAL HEALING WITH MASTER PLANTS

with Maestro Noé Romeo López, Maestra Sílvia Marin García, & Marc-John Brown

Have you ever wondered how indigenous healers become who they are? How their dieta looks like and how it helps them gain the skills to wield medicines like ayahuasca and tobacco, sing icaros, and protect themselves and the sacred ceremony space? Or whether they have any insight into how the expansion of their ancestral plant medicines can evolve into a balanced, inclusive, and socially just landscape?

In this exclusive live panel, receive the perspectives of Shipibo Master Healers on what the globalization of ayahuasca has brought to their culture and what it truly takes to be a curandero that is safe, qualified and good.

You'll HEAR FROM:

Maestro Noé Romeo López | Shipibo Master Plant Healer

As one of six Master Healer brothers, Noé comes from an exquisitely rich lineage of Shipibo plant-spirit medicine carriers. His grandfather was a Meralla, the highest rank of spirituality among the Shipibo-Konibo. His call to the path of healing passed on by his father, Noé started dieting Shipibo-Konibo master plants as a late teen. Since then, he has done dietas with a vast plethora of master plants and has exercised his shamanic talents in Peru, Argentina and Chile.

Maestra Sílvia Marin García | Shipibo Master Healer & Craftswoman

Sílvia’s mother was deeply connected to the healing traditions and, primarily, Kené - traditional textile design of the Shipibo lineage. Trained as a seamstress from an early age, since her late teens, with guidance from the famous curandera, Elisa Vargas from Sanken Nete, Sílvia has done dietas with a variety of plants from the Shipibo lineage, evolving into the adept, skillful, and talented maestra she is today, renowned for her healing capacities throughout Peru, Brazil, and Costa Rica.

Marc-John Brown | Shamanic Coach & Mentor, Founder of Jungle Wisdom Academy

Marc-John Brown has been a practitioner of modern shamanism since 2008. With a background in translation and interpretation and as a soon-to-be qualified anthropologist, he has travelled all around the world, spending many years in South America and extended periods of time in Asia, deeply connected to the Earth’s wisdom and shoulder-to-shoulder with the local Indigenous populations.

Throughout this time, he has gained a rare level of trust and rapport with the first people of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil, thanks to his linguistic capacities and a deep respect for their traditions and the land on which they stand.

Throughout the years of his practice, Marc-John has developed a deep connection to and empathy with the struggles brought to the Earth’s indigenous populations at the hands of the development of the modern world. He now teaches and mentors people in developing a plant medicine practice that is rooted in cross-cultural ethics, responsibility, and integrity.

He is also one of the core faculty at The Plant Spirit School Integration Coach Certification program, designed to empower plant medicine people to grow their thriving vocation in the Psychedelic Renaissance.
